Shae Cornette is an American sports anchor and the host of ESPN’s First Take. She took over the morning debate show in November 2025, after Molly Qerim left, and she now leads the desk beside Stephen A. Smith. Her path runs from Chicago local television to ESPN Radio, SiriusXM, SportsCenter, and SportsNation. Readers also search for her height and body stats, but ESPN and Cornette have not published official figures, so this profile separates listings from facts with care.

Who Is Shae Cornette?
Shae Cornette is a sports broadcaster known for calm control of live debate. She hosts First Take, ESPN’s morning debate show, and she has worked across studio television and national radio.
Her background in broadcast journalism and kinesiology gives her a direct link to both media work and athletic performance. She is also known as one half of the first married couple to host a national ESPN Radio show.
Shae Cornette Height — How Tall Is She?
Shae Cornette’s height has not been officially confirmed by ESPN or by Cornette herself. Third-party listings give a spread. The most careful recent reading puts her at an estimated 5 ft 6 in to 5 ft 7 in (168–170 cm).
Several older profiles give 5 ft 6 in, a few give 5 ft 7 in, and a few give 5 ft 9 in. The 5 ft 9 in figure is an outlier and does not line up with the newer estimate, so this profile uses 5 ft 6 in to 5 ft 7 in as the estimated range and labels it as unconfirmed.
Shae Cornette Weight and Build
Her weight is listed at 127 lb (58 kg) in two older profiles. No other weight figure was found in reliable sources, and no official figure exists. That single listing is given here as unconfirmed, not as a fact.
Her build is described as slim in those profiles. On screen, her frame reads as lean and athletic, which fits her sports background and her studio work, where she stands and moves with ease.
Shae Cornette Body Measurements
This section must be honest about a gap. No bust, waist, or hips figures, no bra size, and no dress size for Shae Cornette were found in reliable sources.
ESPN has not published such figures, and Cornette has not shared them in profiles. Inventing a set of numbers to fill the section would break the trust rules of this profile, so no such set is given here.
What can be stated is limited. Her shoe size is listed as 7 US in two older profiles, and that figure is unconfirmed. Her body type in those profiles is slim.
In photos and on First Take, her build looks lean, with a straight, tall studio frame and long legs in tailored trousers and dresses. That visual note is a description of her on-screen look, not a measurement.
Readers who see a full bust-waist-hips set for Cornette on a low-quality page should treat it with caution, since no source with a clear basis was found for such a set.
Shae Cornette Measurements vs. Industry Peers
| Sports host | Height and frame |
| Shae Cornette | 5 ft 6 in to 5 ft 7 in (168–170 cm, estimated), slim |
| Molly Qerim | 5 ft 6 in to 5 ft 7 in (168–170 cm, listed), slim — Cornette’s predecessor on First Take |
| Charissa Thompson | 5 ft 9 in (175 cm, listed), slim |
The table is for height and frame only. Cornette sits in the same height range as Qerim on the listed figures and below Thompson, who is listed two to three inches taller.
Style, Fashion and Signature Looks
On First Take, Cornette wears tailored studio clothing. Fitted blazers, smart dresses, and trousers suit a debate desk and keep the focus on the discussion.
Her September 2026 Instagram post from outside SoFi Stadium ahead of Monday Night Football also showed a styled game-day look, with a fit credit to Favorite Daughter. The overall style is polished and work-ready, with clean lines that suit her height.
Does Shae Cornette Have a Particular Body Type or Fitness Routine?
Her body type is slim and athletic-lean. Her degree work in kinesiology points to a long interest in how the body moves and performs, even though no workout plan or diet plan from Cornette herself was found in reliable sources.
No such plan is claimed here. Her on-screen energy, steady voice, and ease in live debate suggest a routine built for long studio days, but that is a work observation, not a fitness claim.
How Old Is Shae Cornette? Age and Birthday
Shae Cornette was born in 1986. Wikipedia gives 20 August 1986, while many older profiles give 1 August 1986. Both dates fall in August 1986, so her age is the same either way.
She is 40 years old as of November 2026. Her zodiac sign is Leo. A 1985 birth date on one low-quality page does not line up with her school and career timeline and is set aside here.
Biography and Early Life
Cornette was born Shae Peppler in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Park Ridge, Illinois. She attended Indiana University Bloomington, where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism, with kinesiology as a second field in profiles.
During college, she interned with MTV Networks and Showtime Networks and worked as a production assistant for CBS coverage of Chicago Bears games.
Her parents and siblings are not laid out in reliable detail in this profile, since the names in some pages do not match each other and cannot be verified here.

An earlier 2026 post, dated 9 January 2026, marked her daughter Saylor turning 3, which lines up with a January 2023 birth.
Net Worth and Income Sources
No official net worth figure for Shae Cornette exists. Public estimates in 2025 and 2026 profiles give $1 million to $3 million. That range is given here as an estimate only. Her ESPN salary is not publicly disclosed. Some pages cite a reported $500,000 salary for her predecessor, Molly Qerim, but that figure is not Cornette’s salary and is not used as one here. Her income comes from her ESPN television and radio work, including First Take, SportsCenter, SportsNation, and SiriusXM NFL Radio.
